The song "Boring" is now (actually) available on A

The song "Boring" is now (actually) available on Apple Music and other streaming services except Spotify! The B-side is a song called "Conveyor". Both songs are thematically linked, so I decided to release them together.

The original artwork is "Child with Doll" by Henri Rousseau, and I edited it to look vaguely like me (debatable). Hot tip for indie artists looking for artwork: you can find public domain stuff on rawpixel.com.

If you bought my album "Tirando Basura", you'd have heard these songs already - they are the album bookends (first and last track).

You can still buy the album on Bandcamp and MiniDisc at fanfickk.bandcamp.com. MiniDiscs are selling fast!

I released an album last Friday! It's called "Tirando Basura" (basically this emoji in Spanish: 🚮), and it contains 10 tracks. It's a real mixed bag, some dark, industrial sounding stuff, some very poppy tunes, a few weird ambient, Krautrocky instrumentals, and a cover of "Achterbahn" by @clueso that I sing in German! 🇩🇪

The full album is only on Bandcamp and MiniDisc 💽. MiniDiscs can currently be purchased from Bandcamp but they're about to be in record stores as well (watch this space). I pinned a highlight that shows the MiniDiscs so you can see what they look like.

Thanks to everyone that was involved in the making of this album, even if it was mostly to lend an ear while I complained about the pointlessness of making music and how "I give up after this" 🤡

I have a new single out today called "Jacket" 🧥

I have a new single out today called "Jacket" 🧥. I'm not sure what to say about this song... I wrote it about my friend that isn't here anymore. I wear the clothes I inherited from her, and sometimes do a double take when I see myself in a shop window. It's been 8 years.

The music video is mostly cut together from public domain footage by the brilliant experimental film maker Len Lye. The intro section (shown here) is stock footage that I face swapped myself into.

I also have an album out today, exclusively on Bandcamp and MiniDisc 💽, but I'll write more about that some other time.

I'm tired of arguing with people one at a time so please enjoy my explainer of why Spotify is shit, terrible for artists, and terrible for the world in general. I know it's a very convenient app, but this is the cost.

It's not really a Fanfickk release since I had to make the genre something my mum would actually enjoy ☠️ so I have released it under the name "Lindenthal".

Special thanks to Taka for playing a lot of the instruments (drums, guitar, piano), and my sister @frauleinfink for generously singing a verse and some backing vocals for me 🪩. As well as producing this one, I also played bass for what feels like the first time in forever.

I was lucky enough to spend 10 days in Thailand with a bunch of lovely people, and these are my smug holiday snaps 📸

My music video for "You're Not The One" is almost

My music video for "You're Not The One" is almost a week old! 🐣

It was shot on an iPhone, and edited using @davinciresolvestudios (best free software ever). Shots of the presenter are actually video stills animated using "Deep Nostalgia" by @myheritage_official. I then slapped my singing mouth back onto it, and tried to move it around to match the head movements (to varying degrees of success, as you can see).

At the end, the whole thing was recorded onto VHS and then digitised again, which made it wonkier than it was already.

Big thank you to my friends @nightmarishmeatballs and Taka (who also mixed the track) for coming over and modelling whatever was lying around my apartment 🍌. And of course Kimchi, for being the most realistic cat that was able to attend at short notice.

I based the tile design on a hand-painted tile pattern I found on Pinterest, but my tiles are custom printed because it was cheaper haha. The benchtop is custom cut, hand-polished caeserstone in a matte, concrete look 💸💸💸

Still a WIP - I have more details I want to add, pendant lights, etc, but it looks so much more inviting already!
